Parent and Carers Funding Talks
The Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) will be delivering online funding talks which are designed specifically for the parents & carers of prospective higher education students. These sessions will be running from the 18 March.

These sessions will:
- explain the funding available from SAAS to the parents/carers of those planning to undertake higher education courses (HNC/HND/Degree courses)
- highlight the information we require regarding household income details required from parents and carers
- provide information on the repayment of student loans; and
- provide direct access to a funding awareness advisor who can assist with specific or general queries you may have regarding SAAS
SAAS Online Application Workshops
SAAS will also be hosting online application workshops which provide help with completing and submitting an application to SAAS for funding. These sessions can be attended by students and their parents and carers. They will be hosted via MS Teams and will run from 9 April to 27 June. These interactive workshops will:
- explain the funding available from SAAS for those planning to undertake higher education courses (HNC/HND/Degree courses); and
